Amplifiers
The MU-DEL various series of Amplifiers have gained wide recognition for versatility and reliability in Telemetry, Communications, Audio, Video, ECM and Surveillance applications. These Amplifiers are available to cover frequency ranges of DC to 40 GHz. They operate from a variety of AC or DC supply voltages. The Amplifiers can be packaged for the customer’s applications in sizes ranging from 1” x 1” x 0.5” to rack mounted units for indoor use and ther types of packaging for outdoor requirements. The outdoor enclosures can be pressurized, non-pressurized or foamed for Antenna mast or flat surface mounting. There are multi-channel Amplifiers available with selectable impedance and gain adjustments in all types of packaging.
A number of options are available to customize an Amplifier for a customer’s specific application. Options include; lightning protection, power limiters, RF Filters, DC blocks, bias tee’s, improved noise figures, higher/lower gain, automatic gain control (AGC), manual gain control, numerous supply voltages and various package sizes.
Power Panels
The MU-DEL Power Panels are designed to supply DC power via a coaxial cable to remotely located amplifiers or similar devices. The Power Panels are suitable for standard 19” rack mounting. They consist of highly reliable AC power supplies and bias tee’s which apply the DC voltages to the RF coaxial connectors. All units are available for single or multiple channel applications and for various DC loads and will operate in the frequency range of DC to18 GHz. Over-voltage and over-current protection can be provided for both the input and the output circuitry.
Antenna Systems
The MU-DEL Antenna Systems are used in communications and telemetry applications. Low Gain, Broad beamwidth and Wide Frequency range Antenna Systems are used for Flight Line Telemetry applications, while Medium Gain, Medium Beam width and Medium Frequency Range Antenna Systems are used to monitor Point-to-Point communications and other types of signals. Narrow or Wideband omni directional antenna systems along with Power Detection Indicator circuitry are also available.
MU-DEL’s Antenna Systems are normally supplied as complete packages, where the Low Noise Amplifiers, AC or DC Power Supply, RF filtering and special mounting are considered as standard products.
Filters/Multiplexers
MU-DEL manufactures a broad array of RF Filters. They are available in Lumped Element or Cavity Filters in Bandpass, Lowpass, Highpass or Band Reject configurations in the range of DC to 26.5 GHz.
Multiplexers are available in two, three and four channel filter designs. This will enable combinations of separate input signals into a common output or a common input to separate output signals. These Multiplexers provide low loss and high power capability characterized by low VSWR and high isolation between channels. Most units have power handling capability up to 250 watts.
Radar Frequency Generators
MU-DEL manufactures Radar Frequency Generators and Receiver Synthesizers which includes Radar Timing, Pulse Shaping and Transmitter Driver Assemblies for use in ground Approach Radars.
